today, i created an image of a lion's body with a tiger's face, and the rear end from a cheetah. i used images from stock xchange. what i did first was use the lion as the background. then i placed the tiger. i used a layer mask so that only the tiger's face was on top op the lions face. then i placed the cheetah. i also used a layer mask so that only its hind legs and tail were visible. i used some levels in order to get the colors to match a bitmore. finally i used the clone stamp to "erase" parts that didnt match.
