i found an interesting tutorial on lighting and masking. I started the tutorial by masking person on a white background onto a black background. i added some lighting by using the ellipse selection and gradeints and masks to blend it. brushes were used to use as lights also. i used illustrator to create a vector shape to add some design to the image.
I like how his clothing and hair seem to fade into the background. Can you post the link to this tutorial?
