Daily Blog Post #14
today i finished the soda bottle label i have been working on. it didnt come out as cool as i pictured it. maybe because i rushed through things. i didnt really take my time to make it look that nice. what i did like was the colors. the rest was like blahh. i thnk i can do better but ive had a rough day. maybe ill come back to this, but for now im done. i think i may need to focus on a project that will keep me entertained for a while without getting bored by it.
in order to complete this, i used some gradients for the background as well as the center circle. i used the pen tool to make the word "fresh" in the middle of the circle. ant the rest was type. so thats pretty much it. nothing too fancy well besides the plastic effect on the logo and circle.

ReplyDeleteI like the idea of the label. I wanted to bring some kind of package design project into the first year class. I wonder if other students would like to design a label.
Thoughts?
yeah that would be a good idea. i think that will bring out a bit of creativity but with restrictions.
